Image Enhancement Seminar for Cooperatives

Last April 16, 2016 @ 1-5 p.m. our Staff and Officers attended the Image Enhancement for Cooperatives that helps on how to deal with our members and prospective members in a very positive way.

Thru the help of our resource speaker Ms. Gina R. Pineda, an HR consultant, we have learned on how to build our image together as an employee and officers of San Jose del Monte Savings and Credit Cooperative (SJDMSCC). We are all aware that in “every time good service is delivered, image is enhanced”.

As an employee and officers the delivery of our services is very important. According to Mrs. Pineda “when our members are MAD, they are upset about the PROBLEM and it is not us personally so we should not get drawn in the “personal web” or not to take it personally in our own language; Trabaho Lang Walang Personalan”.

Being an employees and officers of this cooperative we should also aware on how to represent our own self. Since we are dealing with people, a proper uniform or dress code is necessary. Our body language, facial expressions, gestures might leave a negative impressions to our client so we should calculate every small actions or details that we show to them.

There are common courtesies that we could consider in dealing with members: 1. Come on time; 2. Dress appropriately; 3. Right salutatory address; 4. Appropriate greeting and 5. Offer of hospitality. These common courtesies can help us to win our prospective members. Being one of the employee or officer of this cooperative we must also familiarized with our craft’ we must fully understood our cooperative, the products and services that we offered and all the process including all the policies that we are implementing.

It should be clear to us that “COOPERTATIVE” is just a word but the composition of this organization is “US”, every individual within the organizational structure of San Jose Koop are all responsible for the image building. Our action affects the organization so therefore building our image together will create a strong foundation.
