Consumer Awareness and Responsive Education Seminar

by Rudolf Z. Gado

CONSUMER-AWARENESS

In line with the 30th Founding Anniversary of San Jose Koop we have lined up some activities and one of those is the 2nd Business Summit. This activity aims to strengthen our businessmen by providing them the products and services of San Jose Koop. “To empower our member by providing them access to competitive and quality financial services” is our Mission Statement.

MSBDO invited one hundred (100) businessmen who are member of San Jose Koop to attend the Business Summit and it was held at the Grotto Vista Resort last June 30, 2017 @ 1-5:00 PM. In coordination with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) we included a seminar entitled “CONSUMER AWARENESS AND RESPONSIVE EDUCATION SEMINAR” and it was conducted by the DTI Speaker / Representative Mr. John Christ Dizon. During the seminar Mr. Dizon taught all the participants on how to be financially literate and he gave updates on some of the consumer act and rights.

Aside on the seminar provided, San Jose Koop also informed all the participants about the products and services that they can patronize. As an ACCESS Brand cooperative we would like to instill in their mind that our San Jose Koop has the capacity to provide all their needs in terms of loan and savings product. And also we would like to encourage them to be one of our partners in providing services with our members.
