DTI and San Jose Koop: Turn Over Ceremony

dtiby: Mr. Rudolf Z. Gado

On the 19th day of November 2014 the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has awarded the Milking Machine with 2 Buckets and Chilling Tank thru the effort of Dra. Vita Mateo in coordination with San Jose del Monte Savings and Credit Cooperative (SJDMSCC).

The turn-over ceremony was attended by the following: (from DTI) Ms. Zorina Aldana-DTI Provincial Director, Ms. Ma. Cristina V. Valenzuela – OIC Division Chief, Ms. Flora M. Cruz – TIDS and (from San Jose Koop) it was represented by Dir. Lydia Mangubat, Ms. Caroline D. Dave-CEO and Mr. Rodolfo Z. Gado – Asst. marketing Officer and (from Brgy. Poblacion) it was represented by Hon. Emilia Pasco – newly elected Brgy. Chairwoman of Poblacion and the rest are the members of San Jose Koop who are engaged in the Cattle Raising Industry and Milk Production.

During the ceremony Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed by the two parties. The milking machine and chilling tank shall be place and install at the Farm of Dra. Vita Mateo because according to DTI the machine should be located near the farm and since she was the contact person of DTI for monitoring, maintenance and for program implementation.

All members of San Jose Koop who are engaged in the milking production can use the facility with a minimum cost. With this program we can empower the milking production business in this city. This will open another big opportunity for the small milk producers.  San Jose Koop and DTI are looking forward for the best result in this program.
