Rehabilitation and Blessing of SJDM Central School Canteen

by: Rudolf Z. Gadocentral canteen

The San Jose del Monte Savings and Credit Cooperative continuously commits itself to develop and help our community. One of the 7 Cooperative Principles is “Concern for Community” and as cooperative we make sure that San Jose Koop is always bound and live to that priciple!

9:00 in the morning of March 30, 2014, the Staff and Officers headed by CEO Caroline D. Dave and Chairman of the Board Romeo A. De Jesus, Jr. had attended the blessing of San Jose del Monte Central School’s Canteen officiated by Monsignor Rodolfo Gallardo. Cutting of ribbon was also held after the ceremony and it was led by Chairman Romy De Jesus – San Jose Koop and Ms. Flordeliza M. Limon – Principal of SJDM Central School.

Every year San Jose Koop allocated some of its fund for community development program. This fund was being utilized for a certain community development project. This 2014, majority of the Board of Directors agreed to use the fund to rehabilitate the school canteen of San Jose del Monte Central School as part of our contribution
for the development of the school because for more than 2 and a-half decades, San Jose del Monte Central School nurtured us and became the official venue during Annual General Assembly of San Jose Koop. Indeed, all the hardship and memories of San Jose Koop’s during the annual general assembly was being witnessed and marked at the San Jose del Monte Central School.

To all members of San Jose Koop expect more community projects from our cooperative, because our commitment to serve is being state in our cooperative vision.
Congrats and more power San Jose Koop. In God We Trust.
