Milk Processing Held at San Jose Koop

May 22, 2014 - As part of San Jose Koop’s Anniversary, one of the activity held during the month of May was the Milk Processing Seminar.

Every year we are sponsoring a livelihood seminar to empower our member. Thru the help of Dra. Vita Mateo, member of the board and the chairman of the Livelihood and Social Services Committee. As per requested to the National Dairy Authority (NDA), they sent us Ms. Cecil Nolasco-Manuel, a milk processing trainer.

The said training was attended by 25 participants and during the seminar they learned how to process milk and make pastillas de leche, milko gello, choco milk, yogurt and kesong puti. Most of the participants are engaged in agricultural business, so we are hoping that this seminar will give them additional income.
