San Jose Koop Founded

San Jose Koop Founded

San Jose Del Monte Kilusang Bayan Sa Pagpapautang, Inc. was organized with Php 37,500.00 initial capital.

1987

SJDM Kilusang Bayan sa Pagpapautang, Inc. CDA Registration

Registered to the Bureau of Cooperative Development with 112 members and total assets of Php 378,971.00.

1989

Dividends and Patronage Refunds

Started giving dividends and patronage refunds to its members.

1993

SJDM Kilusang Bayan sa Kaunlaran, Inc. CDA Registration

SJDM Kilusang Bayan sa Kaunlaran, Inc. CDA Registration

Re-registered to the Cooperative Development Authority as San Jose del Monte Kilusang Bayan sa Kaunlaran, Inc. Built its main office in Poblacion and became Multi-Purpose Cooperative from Credit Cooperative.

1994

Hall of Fame Awardee

Hall of Fame Awardee

Installed in the Hall of Fame as the Most Outstanding Cooperative of Bulacan awarded by Former President Corazon Aquino.

1997

The First Satellite Office

The First Satellite Office

Started branching out in Sapang Palay Commercial Area and accredited as Bayad Center for miscellaneous bills payment.

1999

Growing Membership and Assets

Total members of 10,633 with Asset of Php 180 Million and Php 50.8 Million Share Capital.

2000

SJDM Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Kaunlaran CDA Registration

Re-registered to Cooperative Development Authority as San Jose del Monte Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Kaunlaran.

2001

Sta. Maria & Marilao Expansion

Expanded its area of operation to neighboring Barangays of San Vicente, Loma de Gato and Bulac. All located at the Municipalities of Sta. Maria and Marilao.

2003

Coop-LGU Partnership Award

Received Php 250,000.00 for the Coop-LGU Partnership Award sponsored by the Senate of the Philippines.

2004

New Services and Products

Added new services such as Youthbee, Smarteens Savers, Budget Savings, Holiday Savings, Christmas Savings, Motorcycle and Motor Vehicle Loan.

2005

The Second Satellite Office

The Second Satellite Office

Offered RCPI Western Union Money Transfer Services and opened its 2nd Satellite Office in Brgy. Muzon.

2006

Sta. Maria, Marilao & Norzagaray Expansion

Expanded area of its operation covering the Municipalities of Sta. Maria, Marilao and Norzagaray. And for the second time, received Php 250,000.00 for the Coop-LGU Partnership Award sponsored by the Senate of the Philippines.

2007

The Third Satellite Office

The Third Satellite Office

Celebrated its 20th Year Anniversary and opened its 3rd office in Brgy. Tungkong Mangga. Total Asset reached to Php 317 Million and 21,000 members.

2008

Becoming a Century Cooperative

Reached the 100 Million Mark of Member’s Share Capital thus became one of the Century Cooperatives in the Philippines.

2009

Highest Net Surplus in 23 Years

Reached the highest net surplus of 18 Million for over 23 years of operation.

2010

ACCESS BRAND – Bronze

ACCESS BRAND – Bronze

Branded as ACCESS – Bronze Category by the Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions.

2011

SJDM Savings and Credit Cooperative CDA Registration

SJDM Savings and Credit Cooperative CDA Registration

Re-registered to Cooperative Development Authority as San Jose del Monte Savings and Credit Cooperative. Amended Articles of Cooperation and By-Laws and changed name to SJDM Savings and Credit Cooperative and classification from multi-purpose to savings and credit.

2012

SAN JOSE KOOP’s 25th Anniversary

SAN JOSE KOOP’s 25th Anniversary

Celebrated the Silver Founding Anniversary with the theme “San Jose Coop Turns Silver in the International Year of Cooperatives”.

2014

SIPAG Award

SIPAG Award

Received various awards and recognitions from local to international affiliates, including the Villar 2014 SIPAG Award as one of the Top 10 Most Outstanding Community Enterprise in Poverty Reduction.

2015

The Billionaire Cooperative

The Billionaire Cooperative
  • Became a Billionaire Cooperative as its asset reached Php 1.16 Billion with 21,052 regular members.
  • Obtained ACCESS Brand (5th year) – Bronze Category Award – an international award from Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions (ACCU) in Bangkok Thailand.
  • Awarded as the Most Outstanding Cooperative – Large Scale Category, CDA Gawad Parangal 2015 (Regional Level) and 3rd Place in the 2015 National CDA Gawad Parangal Award – Most Outstanding Primary Cooperative – Large Scale Category.
2017

  • Awarded as ACCESS Silver Brand Accreditation during ACCU Forum at Incheon City, South Korea.
  • For two consecutive years awarded as the Most Outstanding Cooperative – Large Scale Category, CDA Gawad Parangal (Regional Level)
  • 3rd Place in 2016 National CDA Gawad Parangal Award – Most Outstanding Primary Cooperative – Large Scale Category.
2018

The Fourth Satellite Office

The Fourth Satellite Office
  • Marked the total assets of Php 2 Billion.
  • Open its 4th Satellite Office in nearby town Caypombo, Sta. Maria Bulacan.
  • And for four consecutive years awarded as the Most Outstanding Cooperative – Large Scale Category, CDA Gawad Parangal (Regional Level) and 3rd Place in 2018 National CDA Gawad Parangal Award – Most Outstanding Primary Cooperative – Large Scale Category.
2019

The Fifth & Sixth Satellite Offices

The Fifth & Sixth Satellite Offices
  • Total Assets reached P 2.5 Billion.  Open its 5th and 6th Satellite Offices in Loma de Gato, Marilao (left) and Minuyan, Norzagaray (right).
  • For the fourth time awarded as ACCESS Silver Brand Accreditation in Malaysia.
2020

Breakthrough in CoVID Outbreak

Our operation was not badly affected by the pandemic and continues to reach out to all its beloved members.

  • Distribution of financial assistance from Community Development Fund as relief to members due to the implementation of community quarantine.
  • Strict implementation of safety health protocols from the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) as preventive measures for both members and employees.
  • Implementation of Philippine Republic Act No. 11469 known as “Bayanihan to Heal as One Act granting condonation on penalty for the unpaid loan amortization of member-borrowers during COVID-19 outbreak.
  • ACCU Business Solution No. 29 – Business Continuity Plan in Response to Pandemic was adopted to deal with operational risks.
